Privacy Policy

Effective Date: December 1, 2024
Last Updated: August 5, 2026

INTRODUCTION

Nexus Opportunity Holdings LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Bible Verses Meaning website and the Bible Verses Meaning iOS application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our website or the App.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Information You Provide

We may process information that you voluntarily provide when using the App, including:

  • Questions or queries you submit to the Biblical Insights feature
  • Feedback or support requests you send to us
  • Any other information you choose to provide

Automatically Collected Information

When you use the App, we may automatically collect certain information, including:

  • Device and app information, such as device model or type, operating-system version, language, app version, and general country or region
  • Pseudonymous identifiers, including a Google Analytics app-instance identifier and, where applicable, Apple’s vendor identifier
  • App usage and product-interaction data, such as app opens, screen views, session duration, onboarding progress, question-submission outcome, response success or failure, bounded response latency and attempt count, paywall views, plan selection, purchase outcome, and verified trial activation
  • Crash reports, diagnostic information, and performance data
  • App Store purchase and subscription information, such as product, price, and subscription status, used to provide, restore, and measure paid access
  • Apple Ads attribution information, such as campaign and ad-group identifiers associated with an eligible install
  • A limited onboarding-allowance record used to enforce one personalized pre-purchase Biblical Insight. This record contains separately salted HMAC-SHA256 hashes derived from the installation, request, and normalized question, together with a timestamp and sanitized app-version and market values

Information We Do Not Collect or Use for Analytics

  • Your name, email address, or other contact information unless you contact us directly
  • Precise location. Google Analytics may derive a general country or region from a masked IP address; Google states that Analytics does not log or store the IP address
  • Payment-card or bank-account information; App Store payments are processed by Apple
  • A profile of your personal religious beliefs or denominational affiliation
  • The IDFA or other data used by us to track you across other companies’ apps or websites. The App does not include AdSupport and does not request App Tracking Transparency permission
  • Your question text, generated answer, Scripture text, Scripture references, or raw error descriptions as Firebase or Google Analytics event parameters

HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide and maintain the App’s functionality
  • Process Biblical Insights queries and Word Study requests
  • Provide and enforce the one-personalized-Insight onboarding allowance
  • Understand onboarding completion, response reliability and latency, paywall reach, trial activation, and subscription outcomes
  • Improve and optimize the App experience
  • Respond to inquiries and support requests
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, misuse, or fraud
  • Measure Apple Ads and Google Ads campaign performance and understand which campaigns lead to installs, verified trial activations, or subscriptions

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Apple App Store

All subscription payments and billing are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment-card information. Please review Apple’s Privacy Policy for information about how Apple handles data.

RevenueCat

RevenueCat helps us manage subscriptions and entitlement access. RevenueCat may receive a pseudonymous app-user identifier, App Store purchase and subscription status, and, when available, Apple’s AdServices attribution token. We use this information to verify paid access and measure campaign effectiveness. RevenueCat does not receive your payment-card details from us. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.

Apple Ads Attribution

After the App is installed or opened, it may request Apple’s privacy-preserving AdServices attribution token and send it to RevenueCat. The token can identify the Apple Ads campaign and ad group associated with an eligible install; Search Match attribution may not include a keyword. We use this data to measure advertising performance and subscription outcomes. This standard integration does not collect the IDFA, does not add an App Tracking Transparency prompt, and is not used by us to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Firebase and Google Analytics

We use the analytics-only Firebase SDK and Google Analytics to measure app usage, the onboarding and paywall funnel, technical reliability, and verified trial activation. Google Analytics automatically assigns a pseudonymous app-instance identifier, measures app lifecycle and purchase events, and may receive device and app metadata and general location derived from a masked IP address. We do not set a Google Analytics user ID.

Our BVM Analytics property is linked to our Google Ads account so a verified trial-start event can be shared for campaign measurement. Personalized advertising signals and Google Ads on-device conversion event-data collection are disabled. The App does not include AdSupport, does not collect the IDFA, and does not request App Tracking Transparency permission. We do not send questions, answers, Scripture, references, or raw errors to Firebase Analytics or Google Analytics. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Privacy and Security in Firebase.

Firebase Cloud Firestore

Our server uses Cloud Firestore to enforce the one-personalized-Insight onboarding allowance across service restarts. The record contains only the separately salted hashes and limited operational values described above. It does not contain the raw question, generated answer, Scripture text, Scripture reference, IP address, or advertising identifier. Direct mobile and web access to this database is denied.

AI Services

Our Biblical Insights and Word Study features use artificial intelligence to provide analysis and insights. A query is transmitted to our server and AI service provider so the requested response can be generated. We do not intentionally persist the readable question or generated answer in BVM’s Analytics systems or onboarding-allowance record, and these contents are not used to identify you personally.

DATA RETENTION

Google Analytics event data and user data in the BVM Analytics property are configured for 14-month retention. The hashed onboarding-allowance record is retained while reasonably necessary to enforce the one-Insight allowance and protect the service. Apple, RevenueCat, Google, and other service providers retain information according to their own policies and legal obligations. We otherwise retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, protect the service, and comply with legal obligations.

DATA SECURITY

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Our App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address the request.

YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding personal information, including the right to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of certain processing. Because the App does not require an account and much of the data is pseudonymous, we may need information available from your installation to locate an applicable record. To make a request, contact us at the email address below.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised Privacy Policy on this page and update the “Last Updated” date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
